Techie Factory’s Design Thinking Lab is an exciting 5-day hands-on innovation program where kids learn how to think like inventors, problem-solvers, designers, and future entrepreneurs. Through teamwork, creativity, empathy, brainstorming, prototyping, and presentation skills, students will explore how to turn an idea into a real product or solution. Whether your child loves creating, building, drawing, solving problems, or coming up with new ideas, this class helps them strengthen creativity, confidence, communication, and critical thinking skills.

What is Design Thinking?

Design Thinking is a creative process used by innovators, inventors, and businesses to solve problems and improve lives. Students learn how to:

  • Understand real problems people face
  • Build empathy and think from another person’s perspective
  • Brainstorm and generate creative ideas quickly
  • Sketch, build, and test prototypes
  • Improve ideas through feedback
  • Present solutions with confidence
Students will work through the full design thinking cycle in a fun, kid-friendly way while collaborating with peers and building hands-on projects.
