Techies begin their coding journey by learning programming basics with SCRATCH through fun and interactive lesson plans, games, projects, and guidance from our expert instructors. 

Be assured that your Techie will have a blast learning coding, computational basics and design thinking skills. In time Techies, will develop a strong foundation as they are introduced into additional programming languages like Lua, Python and Javascript.

LEGO ENGG. & ROBOTICS ESSENTIALS

Beginner Techies will explore introductory concepts in robotics and brick engineering, exploring real-world problems, learning design thinking and coding, while creating unique and innovative solutions using LEGO® Spike Explore, LEGO® BricQ, Dash & Dots, Ozobots and other STEM educational products.

VEX & LEGO ROBOTICS ESSENTIALS

Beginner Techies will explore engineering concepts in Lego and VEX robotics exploring real-world problems, learning design thinking and coding, while creating unique and innovative solutions using LEGO® Spike Prime, LEGO® Spike Essential, VEX Robotics, and other STEM educational products. In this course, little Techies will build engineering or mini robotic models from scratch each week and program solutions to real-world engineering problems.

ROBOTICS CODING CLASSES FRISCO TX
STEAM & CHESS

In this class, students will learn the basics of a chess game – setup, objective of the game, chess fundamentals, and more. They will practice opening strategies and formations that will give them a strong start in their gameplay. Instructors will  reinforce their beginner and intermediate Chess skills and techniques. 

Intermediate Chess learners will learn new strategies and tactics that will help them advance their pieces in an effective manner. Important strategic positions of the pieces will be covered so students acquire deeper background knowledge of game development.

Students will also work on hands-on STEAM projects including 3D design and modeling, DIY STEM projects, Lego designs and hands-on engineering models using everyday materials twice a month.

DIGITAL ART & ANIMATION (STOP MOTION)

Create your own animation videos by exploring how to write, produce, film, and edit your own Lego Stop Motion videos and multimedia content! 

In this lab, Techies will be immersed in all aspects and roles of Audio-Video production while making short-length stop motion movies. They will learn about the different phases of movie production from pre to post-production techniques, editing, mixing in Lego Stop Motion Animation and other relevant software applications.

They will also explore concepts of Digital Animation and Art on FlipAClip, ProCreate and traditional artistic techniques too.
