LEGO ROBOTICS & ROBLOX

This camp is suitable for ages 8-14. Campers ages 8-10 will explore our beginners/Intermediate Lego Engineering and Bloxels Game Design programs. Campers ages 10+ will explore our Intermediate/Advanced Lego Engineering and Roblox Game Design programs.

Campers will also be introduce to Lego Engineering design skills as they build and test prototypes of fun and simple machines such as a ferris wheel, carousel, a motorized boat, an elevator or automated crane and other motorized models. Campers will solve fun BOT challenges or BOT missions and will work in teams or groups to solve these exciting mission challenges.

ANIMATION & YOUTUBE

This camp is suitable for ages 7-14. Campers will earn what it takes to be a Youtube Creator by exploring how to write, produce, film, and edit their own videos! Campers will immerse themselves in all aspects and roles of Audio-Video production and make short-length movies.

They will learn about the different phases of movie production from pre to post-production techniques, editing, mixing etc in iMovie. Lessons include sound effects, video editing and effects, graphic design, and creating content for their very own Social Media channel or brand to show your parents and friends.

STEAM & CHESS

 Our STEAM & Chess Camp (PM hours: 1-4 pm) will introduce Chess strategies and games to beginner and intermediate players. This camp is suitable for ages 6-12.

Campers will learn the basics of a chess game – setup of the board, the objective of the game, chess fundamentals, strategies and tactics that will help them advance their pieces in an effective manner. Campers will have loads of fun with hands-on STEAM projects including such as 3D modeling, DIY Steam Kits, Lego designs and hands-on engineering projects using everyday materials.
