Ready for your future engineer to build more than the next Star Wars kit? Combine the power of LEGO bricks with intuitive block-based coding to create and code bots of your own design. Techies will work in pairs and teams, using kits with over 500 pieces, to test, analyze, evaluate, and iterate to improve their designs. We’ll also be incorporating 3D LEGO design and LEGO engineering.
Our Esports select teams give kiddos the opportunity to play while also learning teamwork, social skills, self confidence, winning and losing with grace, better coordination, and Esports gives community to kids who don’t love traditional sports. Our teams will also help your kiddo develop leadership skills, empathy, problem-solving, and so much more.
They’ll not only play but learn how to stream, shoutcast, and be introduced to a variety of exciting future STEAM careers.
This is the lab is for all your aspiring artists and animators! Our techie’s will learn the basics of digital drawing and design, as well as be introduced to tools and software that modern day animators, artists, and designers use to create unique and inspiring creations. Kids will also learn to make incredible stop motion shorts using LEGOs and all manner of other fun things.
Our new MMR lab is perfect for the kiddo who wants to work in Minecraft EDU or Roblox Studio and get a little math homework done too.
We will have the one and only Mr. Kristian of Mathnasium and Kumon fame to help all our Techies out with their math and Minecraft or Roblox. If you’re looking for the spoon full of sugar to make the math medicine go down… this lab is perfect for you!
Techies can also learn fun new mods(coding) in Minecraft or learn to build amazing Roblox experiences. We won’t be playing the games so much as working in them.
For the first time, this fall we’ll be open for 3 hours on Saturdays. Drop your kiddo off to work on any of the options we have during the week. Little brother has soccer games every Saturday, drop big sister for some fine Minecraft modding and building. The program is designed for 4 hour and a half drop-offs a month.
That could be 2 three hour Saturdays or every week for an hour and a half. Whatever works best for your schedule works for us.
